As the results of the reviews, 14 proposals had been accepted for the Special Session at the 2018 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robot and Systems (IROS2018).
Each organizer collects at least 8 papers for each Special Session. They will be reviewed similar to the regular papers and only the accepted ones will be published in the IROS2018 Proceedings. The organizer will be invited to be the Chair of the Special Session and responsible for.
If the number of accepted papers is bigger than 8, papers will be allocated in two sessions and if necessary will be completed with regular papers of similar topic. Just in case that the number of accepted papers is less than 8, the papers will be reassigned to the other regular sessions according to the topic.

Madrid Municipal Conference Centre
The Madrid Municipal Conference Centre (MMCC), located in Campo de las Naciones business area, is a modern and light-filled building, perfect for hosting conferences. It has hosted international events such as the meeting in Spain of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, summits of the European Union and the United Nations, together with medical, pharmaceutical, professional and financial conferences.
The exceptional work by the Ricardo Bofill´s Architectural Studio, has exhibition areas, auditorium, an impressive multipurpose hall and rooms of different capacities. Its design provides a great versatility, with the technology and the services necessary to absorb all the demands of the market. It has a useful surface of over 30.000 m , divided into extensive exhibition areas, exhibition floor of 2.414 m and twenty eight rooms.
The MMCC is about 5 minutes away by car from the Madrid-Barajas Airport, and also has an excellent public transportation communication both by metro and by bus. It is located at 80 m away from the station Feria de Madrid, line 8 of Madrid metro network.
